PHLT 311 - Health Systems, Organization, and Policy (3)

This course provides students with an overview of the U.S. health care system, its components, and the policy challenges created by its organization. A review of the legal and regulatory dimensions of health care and public health policy will be presented. Includes a discussion of the government’s role in health care and public health as well as a comparison of the U.S. health system to others across the world. Cross-listed with HCAD 301.
