Admission to the master of arts in theological studies (M.A.T.S.) program requires a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution. The M.A.T.S. is specifically designed for individuals wanting to deepen their understanding of the Christian faith and to integrate their faith more effectively in professional vocations and lay ministry settings. This degree requires at least 39 credits, with not less than two-thirds of these credits being completed at Samford. A minimum grade point average of 2.00 is required.
