For beginners or near beginners. At the end of this class, students will be able to do the following: use basic grammar necessary for writing, learn basic sentence structure, learn the structure of a paragraph, learn appropriate paper heading, spacing, and font style/size, effectively use graphic organizers, and avoid plagiarism by summarizing. The pre-requisite for this class is Grammar 1, unless assessment placement scores indicate otherwise.
