The non-background master of science in speech-language pathology bridge program is designed for students with a bachelor’s degree in areas outside of speech-language pathology or audiology. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSDS) has determined that eight speech-language pathology bridge courses are required. The non-background program prepares the student for entry into the graduate degree program. This curriculum in the CSDS department is built on a foundation of rigorous academics and code of values. Our faith-based academic coursework focuses on service, leadership, and critical-thinking skills. Interprofessional education experiences with students and faculty from other healthcare disciplines are a key component of the program. Transcripts will be reviewed for prerequisite courses and an individualized plan of study will be created for each student.
