KINE 260 - Disability and Participation (3)

This course examines how people with disabilities participate in education, employment, and social activities. The course will discuss the impact of environmental and attitudinal barriers, and the role of assistive technology, accessibility, and universal design in promoting inclusion. Students will gain foundational knowledge on interprofessional healthcare and education and explore strategies for supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving meaningful participation in daily activities. Prereq: KINE 165. Offered: Every Term.
