KINE 165 - Foundations of Disability, Health, and Physical Activity (3) This course introduces students to the foundational theories and models in disability, and how they affect the physical movement and social participation of people with disabilities. Students will learn appropriate terminology to discuss disability, etiquette when interacting with people with disabilities, and the core tenets of legal protections for people with disabilities. The course will also discuss historical representations of disability including Biblical texts. Offered: Fall and Spring. (Formerly KINE 265)
