ARCH 319 - Materials and Methods (3) This course provides students an understanding of the basic selection and design implications for the materials and methods used in the construction of buildings. It will examine specific materials-masonry, concrete, steel, wood, and glass-for their qualities and characteristics, design advantages, and constraints. Students will also explore ways materials can be combined in various construction and building system methods. Offered: Fall.
