BIOL 204 - Foundations of Biology II (4)


Study of the phylogeny, nomenclature, structure, and function of plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, and protista in relation to the principles of ecology. This course is a prerequisite for all upper-level biology courses. Includes laboratory. In this course, we will explore the diversity, structure, function, and life cycles of plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, and protists. We will develop an understanding of the ecological relationships that surround all organisms at the individual, population, community, and ecosystem scale.
