The concentration in software engineering equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue careers as software engineers. Students gain experience in software design, development, life-cycle activities, human-computer interaction, and testing of systems. They also develop skills to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and assume leadership roles in software development organizations while adhering to professional standards.
