DVEV 701 - Cultural Apologetics (3)

This course explores the emerging practice of cultural apologetics within the broader trends of public theology for the local church. Students will learn to connect doctrinal confession to contemporary ministry through the process of developing theological vision to become more effective evangelists and teachers of the gospel no matter the culture. Reading assignments, lectures, and group projects will give students the tools for introspection, contextualization, evangelism, and cultural analysis that will transform their leadership for spiritual formation across diverse congregations. Prereq for MDiv Students: DVEV 500.
