EDUC 317 - Field Experience In Education II-SEED (2)

This two-credit hour field experience practicum is a course designed to provide undergraduate candidates with authentic experiences in a 6-12 school setting. EDUC 317 provides the opportunity for candidates to integrate theoretical learning and practical application. This course serves as a platform for candidates to engage in real-world teaching and learning activities and houses all clinical-based assignments and offers various opportunities to practice and refine skills. Candidates are intentionally immersed in a classroom and within a school culture. Candidates are given opportunities to actively participate in the teaching and learning process. Candidates will be in the field for a minimum of 30-45 hours over the semester. Prereq: EDUC 200. Co-req: EDUC 414. Offered: Fall.
