Explores the multi-dimensional role of the professional nurse. Topics include the professional nurse’s role in evidence-based practice, person-centered care, healthcare quality and safety, the interprofessional team, ethical and legal issues, and behaviors that promote personal wellness and resiliency. Prereqs: Admission to the School of Nursing and an unencumbered nursing license.
