NURS 236 - Introduction to Nursing (3) Introduction to the role of the professional nurse. Topics include evidence-based practice, person-centered care, healthcare quality and safety, the interprofessional team, and behaviors that promote personal wellness and resiliency. LEC. Prereqs: Admission to the School of Nursing and completion of required science courses with a minimum science GPA of 2.30 on a 4.00 scale. Offered: Fall and Spring.
