ECFS 322 - Family Life Education (3) This course provides an introduction to the philosophy, principles, and practices of Family Life Education (FLE). Students will explore the process of designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that support individuals and families across the lifespan. Through observation, critique, and hands-on curriculum development, students will gain practical experience in creating effective and inclusive learning experiences. Emphasis will be placed on evidence-based practice, process-oriented teaching methodologies, and strategies for engaging diverse audiences. Students will also examine the role of cultural competence, ethical considerations, and program promotion in the successful delivery of family life education.
