NUTR 371 - Directed Professional Practicum (2-12) Explore the practical applications of nutrition in this experiential learning course. Students will gain experiences in a nutrition related area of interest by shadowing, observing, and actively participating with a preceptor in an assigned field experience. For second-semester junior and senior-level students. A minimum of 2 credits of this course are required for majors in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics but may be taken an additional time for 2-4 credit hours as an elective. May be repeated up to three times for a maximum of 12 credits. Grading is pass/fail. Prereqs: NUTR 110 , NUTR 220 , NUTR 310 , and instructor permission. Offered: Fall.
