HDFE 370 - Practicum in Family Life Education (4)

This course provides students with hands-on experience through a 125-hour practicum in a child, family, social, or community agency, complemented by classroom instruction. Emphasis is placed on personal and professional development, ethical standards across helping professions, and the creation of a professional portfolio. Practicum sites must meet established criteria, as outlined by the HDFE practicum supervisor. Enrollment is limited to junior and senior HDFE majors. Prereq: HDFE 202. Offered: Fall and Spring.
