DANC 201 - Jazz I (2)

Instruction of jazz dance technique. Emphasis on the elements of attitude, focus, energy, music, projection, and the combining of those elements with the dancer’s own personal style. Students will develop performance quality, the ability to learn movement quickly and remember combinations, and the ability to move with the rhythm of a musical composition. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credits. Offered: Fall, on rotation.
