BIOL 221 - Human Anatomy and Physiology for Health Science I (3)

This course is the first in a two-course sequence. Introductory exploration of microscopic and gross anatomy and basic physiology of the human body. Includes review of cell structure, tissue structure, and detailed anatomical and physiological studies of the human organ systems. Designed for students majoring in nursing, pre-pharmacy, sport administration, sports medicine, allied health fields, or psychology. Students majoring in other areas must have special permission of the instructor. This course does not meet any requirements for the major (in biology or environmental science). Co-req: BIOL 222.
