PHLT 675 - Health Equity and Inclusion: Strategies for Community-Centered Public Health (3)

This course delves into advanced strategies for promoting health equity and inclusion in public health initiatives. Students will learn how to effectively organize and collaborate with diverse partners, including researchers, practitioners, and community leaders, to develop and implement health improvement strategies. Emphasis is placed on designing system-level interventions tailored to address specific public health issues, with a focus on understanding and integrating community-informed knowledge, including cultural values and practices. The course also covers the development and analysis of inclusive public health policies and programs. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical case studies, students will be equipped to lead transformative public health efforts that prioritize community engagement and inclusivity.
