LAW 617 - Advanced Legal Research (2)

Advanced Legal Research seeks to equip students with the skills needed to effectively and efficiently locate legal information. Through lectures, research exercises, and other activities, students will learn how to use various research techniques to identify and navigate a wide range of primary and secondary legal information resources. The class does not emphasize issue analysis or advocacy. Instead, the primary focus of the class is to foster an understanding of which legal research resources to use, how to use those resources, and when to use them. Offered: Fall and Spring, as needed.
