SLPA 532 - Critical Thinking in Guided Observation (3)

Students will complete twenty-five hours of guided observation required by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). This course will provide the students with a framework to better understand a wide variety of assessment and treatment sessions with pediatric and adult clients. Connections between academic course work and clinical activities will be facilitated as students participate in debriefing of videos, group discussions, and independent activities in order to derive meaning from the observation experiences.
