MHCA 619 - Health Policy and Law (3)

This course is a study of the processes used to create internal and external policy, as well as many key policy issues in healthcare administration. An overview of important healthcare laws that impact the management and administration of healthcare organizations will be included. Cases will be used to enrich students’ understanding of the laws and concepts. There will be development of skills and strategies utilizing the analysis and synthesis of policy into daily organization operations. Offered: Spring.
