LAW 523 - Constitutional Law II (3) A study of the basic principles of constitutional law with primary focus on the U.S. Constitution. Topics include judicial review, the distribution of governmental powers in a federal system with emphasis on federal commerce, taxing, and foreign affairs powers; intergovernmental relations, separation of powers within the federal government; and individual liberties with emphasis on the due process and equal protection clauses.
