ENVM 519 - Natural Resource Management and Policy (3) The groundwork for the sustainable management of renewable and non-renewable natural resources is outlined in a combination of lecture and field projects. Basic biological methods, models, and techniques that are used to document and manage wildlife populations provide environmental managers with the tools to develop strategic plans in the workplace. The course content provides field opportunities that develop skills in data collection and analysis of wildlife populations. Environmental challenges that occur during the development and extraction of non-renewable mineral and fossil fuel resources are discussed and summarized. Prereq: None.
