MUSA 1382 - Applied Electric Bass (3)

Advanced 1-on-1 instruction for electric bassists with concentrated study and practice in scales, arpeggios, and popular styles of bass playing. Emphasis is placed on: expanding the knowledge of techniques, practice skills, building repertoire, developing creative and critical thinking skills, communicating through expressive music making, and understanding practical uses and applications. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credits. (Course also available at sophomore, junior, and senior levels: MUSA 2382, 3382, 4382) Offered: Fall and Spring.
