MUSA 1283 - Applied Drum Set (2)

Advanced 1-on-1 instruction for drummers with concentrated study and practice in rudiments and popular styles of drum set playing. Emphasis is placed on: expanding the knowledge of drumming techniques, practice skills, building repertoire, developing creative and critical thinking skills, communicating through expressive music making, and understanding practical uses and applications. May be repeated for a maximum of 4 credits. (Course also available at sophomore, junior, and senior levels: MUSA 2283, 3283, 4283) Offered: Fall and Spring.
