EDUC 325 - Teaching of Reading I (4, then 3)

This course is designed to introduce prospective teachers of children in grades pre-kindergarten through third grade to principles of early learning acknowledging cultural, social, and developmental differences among children. This course develops prospective teachers’ understanding of language development and literacy as fundamental to learning and academic development. Co-reqs: EDUC 321, EDUC 322, and EDUC 326. Offered for 4 credits in 22-23; Will be offered for 3 credits beginning Fall 2024.
