MATH 485 - Senior Seminar (2) Seminar with two components: (1) Topic selected by instructor and presented in the “Moore” style (i.e., a list of results is distributed to students and students are responsible for presenting results in class.) (2) During the semester, students select a topic of research for the sequel course, MATH 495 . They give brief presentations in class and turn in a written proposal for the project to be approved by all mathematics department faculty. In the time between the two courses, students begin to implement the proposal. Prereq: At least one 400-level MATH course.
