SPAD 320 - Sport and Communication (3) This course examines the history of communication and technology changes in the sport industry. Specific attention will be given to technological improvements and cultural trends in the dissemination of sporting news, advertisements, promotions, and viewer consumption. A strong emphasis will be placed on mobile and social media platforms, technological software packages, and the digital realm of sport messaging and consumer acquisition and choice.
