ECCJ 305 - Corrections in America (3)

An examination of the role of correction in the criminal justice system. Major topics include organization and operation of correctional systems, alternatives to institutionalization, rights and treatment of offenders, theories of punishment and rehabilitation, and current and future issues in corrections.
