Examination of the role of innovativeness in managerial processes, product design, and process design. The shrinking global environment is forcing a shift in emphasis from management of stability and control to leadership directed toward speed of product or service delivery, empowerment, flexibility, and continuous improvement. Any existing organization, whether a business, a church, a labor union, or a hospital is faced with the task of promoting and managing organizational innovation. Prereq: MNGT 303.
