BREL 420 - Christian Faith & Community Service (4)

Many Christians serve, volunteer, and give in their communities as an expression of their faith. This course provides a service-learning opportunity where students engage in community ministry through a local congregation or non-profit ministry, and it supplements this experience through research on how faith informs volunteering, charitable giving, and helping others. In addition, it equips students with practical tools for ministering in the community in healthy ways. Prereqs: UCS 102 and UCCP 102. Offered: Fall and Spring, on rotation. (Formerly RELG 370)
