BREL 342 - Israel: Exploring the Biblical World (4)

Lying at the most important crossroads of the ancient world, the land of Israel has played a role in human history that far exceeds its modest borders. In this course, students will examine the geography and history of the land of Israel and the religions and cultures this land has produced through on-site study at locations including Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Beer Sheva, Masada, Jericho, Hazor, Nazareth, Caesarea, the Sea of Galilee, and the Dead Sea.
