BREL 301 - Creation & Covenant in the Old Testament (4)

Examination of principal texts on creation and covenant in the Old Testament, with an emphasis on literary composition, extrabiblical parallels, and theological content. Students will investigate the probable meaning of these texts in their earliest settings and their appropriation in later religious communities. Prereqs: UCBF 101, UCS 102, and UCCP 102, or permission of the instructor. (Formerly RELG 320)
