HIIM 326 - Clinical Data Management II (4)

Continuation of HIIM 325. Students will be instructed in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding. Students will learn the intricacies of the reimbursement process as they relate to coding, documentation, revenue cycle, and regulations set forth by various federal agencies and managed care organizations. Students are introduced to clinical documentation improvement strategies and audit management. Prereq: HIIM 325. Offered: Fall.
