NURG 795 - Advanced Practice Practicum: Emergency Nurse Practitioner (3)

This course builds upon advanced nursing competencies developed at the master’s level, the DNP core curriculum, and emergency nurse practitioner advanced practice specialty courses, to expand knowledge for expert nursing practice. Students are expected to enhance practice and/or systems management skills, including clinical reasoning, and advance to a higher level of expertise in their chosen specialty area. The student will develop an individualized prospectus for completing a minimum of 180 clinical hours during the practicum in collaboration with a faculty advisor. Grading is pass/fail.
