EDUC 546 - Planning, Assessment, and Professional Dispositions (3) This course investigates best practices in planning and assessing for academic achievement in K-6 students. The candidate will be exposed to multiple means of planning including the lesson plan and the curriculum unit. All phases of appropriate classroom assessment will be explored with emphasis on formative and summative assessment. Finally, seminars will be conducted to expose the candidate to professional behaviors (dispositions) required to become a highly-effective K-6 teacher. Offered: Fall.
