This course is designed for candidates enrolled in the fifth-year alternative elementary education masters’ degree program who seek certification at the Class A level. Content of the course will provide elementary teacher candidates with opportunities to deepen math literacy knowledge, examine effective instructional strategies, and analyze data to inform instructional decisions in the area of mathematics.
