The master of science in health informatics and analytics (M.S.H.I.A.) prepares graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead the planning, implementation, management, and analysis of informatics systems and data across the full range of healthcare delivery. Graduates will know how to harness the potential of digital health to improve patient safety, decrease medical errors, reduce costs, increase access to healthcare, and facilitate interprofessional healthcare teams.

Health Informatics Core: 30 Credits
Health Informatics Electives: 6 Credits
Choose 6 credits of graduate-level courses on approved list or as approved by advisor. Health Informatics Capstone: 3 Credits
Total Required Credits: 39
NOTE: It is recommended that students take the core courses in the sequence listed, but after completing PHLT 500 and HIIM 650 .
