The master of science in elementary education, fifth-year non-traditional program (MSE-EEFY) is designed for candidates who have earned a bachelor’s degree in another field and who now wish to earn a master of science in education with Class A certification. Upon successful completion of this one-year program, the candidate is eligible for the master of science in education degree in elementary education (K-6) and Class A certification (provided current certification requirements of the Alabama State Department of Education have been met).
