World Languages & Literature Core: 12 Credits
Elementary French, German, and/or Spanish 101: 8 Credits*
Complete two courses or meet equivalent proficiency Elementary French, German, and/or Spanish 102: 8 Credits*
Complete two courses or meet equivalent proficiency Intermediate French, German, and/or Spanish**: 8 Credits*
Complete either the combination of 201 and 202 (or 251 and 252) of a single language or 203 or 207 of a language (accelerated format). Literature: 8 Credits
Choose two literature courses (one in each language) from the following: Senior Project: 4 Credits
Complete a senior project that combines the two chosen languages from the following: World Languages & Literature Electives: 24 Credits
Complete six additional 300/400-level French, German, and/or Spanish courses (24 credits total).
Must include three courses (12 credits) in each chosen language. - French: FREN 300-499 (12)
- German: GER 300-499 (12)
- Spanish: SPAN 300-499 (12)
General Electives: 43 Credits
Total Required Credits: 128
*Four of these credits are included in the General Education Requirements ; the balance (up to 16 for one language) will be applied towards General Electives.
