Students within the School of Public Health pursue a variety of disciplines focused on the prevention of disease and the promotion of improved health among entire communities and populations. Majors within the School of Public Health are inherently interdisciplinary, with teams of professionals working together to solve some of society’s most complex challenges. The school includes the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and new programs are being developed in a number of other areas. The School currently offers baccalaureate degrees in nutrition and dietetics, but master’s and doctoral degree programs in Public Health and Social Work are coming soon.
Faith, health and service are at the core of the School of Public Health, making graduates uniquely prepared to pursue a variety of careers. Regardless of major, students will graduate prepared to pursue their calling as a health care advocate or researcher in the private or public sector, armed with the expertise and practical knowledge required to significantly impact our world.
