Overview of special education in the secondary environment. Includes characteristics of specific disabilities, laws, issues, trends, methods of collaboration with general education teachers, and transition issues. Prereq: Admission into the master of science Alternative A fifth-year non-traditional program in secondary education (MSE-FYNT).
