HDFE 360 - Infant and Child Development (4) Overview of the science of child development. Includes introduction to major theories of child development and a close examination of the major domains of child development (cognitive, physical, social-emotional) from prenatal to early adolescence. Special focus will also be given to specific disabilities which interplay with development (e.g., ADHD, autism). Additionally, students will gain hands on training and practice administering the Denver II instrument. Prereq: HDFE 202 . Offered: Fall.
