This course builds on the Social Work Practice I course (SOWK 502) by applying the Kirst-Ashman and Hull (2009) Generalist Intervention Model (GIM) (engagement, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, termination, and follow up) to social work practice with communities and organizations.
