Continuation of ECEN 101 with additional practice in composition and verbal communication. Special emphasis is placed on learning how to apply critical thinking skills to the process of reading and incorporating sources into their documents. A major project in this course is the academic research paper. Students must pass this course with a grade of C- or better to advance to sophomore literature courses. Prereq: ECEN 101 with a grade of C- or better. (Formerly MPEN 102)
