GEOG 299 - Essentials of Geography and Environmental Studies (4)

This course introduces the discipline of geography and the interdisciplinary field of environmental studies. Students will explore various methods of geographical and environmental inquiry, including fieldwork and geotechnologies such as Google Earth, ArcGIS Online, and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). Students engage with these methods and technologies to investigate and solve problems in an increasingly complex world while exploring topics at the intersection of humanities and science.
