COMU 2500 - Introduction to Music Technology (3)

This course introduces the fundamentals of music technology geared to the needs of today’s professional musician. Music and technology have always had a symbiotic relationship, and musicians must be equipped to engage with technology as new methodologies continue to emerge. Hands-on experience in notating, creating, recording, editing, curating, and amplifying music will provide an introduction to music technology, thereby equipping students to make informed decisions about present and future technologies.
