MUSC 1310 - Foundations of Music Education (2)

This course introduces the historical, philosophical, and social foundations of music education and offers students an overview of the teaching profession. Students will participate in Socratic seminar, observe in music classrooms, and learn the requirements of the Samford music education curriculum and the process of becoming a licensed music teacher in the region.
