HIIM 441 - HIIM Field Experience (1)

This course is designed to enhance knowledge and theories acquired in the classroom. Provides on-site exposure to health information and/or informatics practice settings, facility tours, introduction to HIIM professionals, and review of organizational health information technologies, systems, and practices. Interviews of credentialed health professionals and subject matter experts in the field of health informatics and information management. Prereqs: HIIM 300 and HIIM 304. Offered: Fall.
